Kristen Johnson
Kristen Johnson, our guest speaker, was a very eccentric, hyper, creative and interesting person. She wore colorful orange clothes, walked up and down the isles and did some very weird things that you wouldn't expect to see in a classroom. She came up and had a conversation with a few students and got to know them; she sat down with them or near them in a chair or on the ground and asked them how they are doing and asked what they liked. She showed us a short 8-minute clip of a blimp that was put up to monitor and spy over Afganistan. The video was very well made with any amazing angles, shots, and had a great dialogue of one of the locals talking about God. The video then cuts to a VERY similar balloon in Maryland that was said to detect missiles but it was most likely doing the same thing in Maryland as it was doing in Afganistan.
